Gday,
Anyone in or around the centre should keep an eye on the road and weather conditions.
A few roads have already been closed..Like-
Luritja Road (-Kings canyon to Highway dirt section)
Glen Helen to Hermansburg dirt road.
Ive heard the Palmer river is up which would probably put
Boggy Hole to Kings Canyon in the too hard basket.
Id check the road reports for updates before getting too adveturous.
Cheers

Luritja Road is all bitumen isn't it? Do you mean Ernest Giles Road - if the Palmer is running or flooded Ernest Giles would be cut.
Boggy Hole track is likely to be impassable at the clay pan near the Illamurta turnoff if there's been that much rain out there.

Yeh, thats right, I didnt word it to
well.
The dirt section of the Ernest Giles from the Luritja road to the highway.
And you wont get across the Palmer coming from
Boggy Hole.

G'day Hairy,
I'm envious of your problem - roads closed because of the rain - weather man told us here in
Tamworth that we would get good rain from Wednesday til Saturday this week. What b/s - so far I have managed to measure a whole 5 ml's. We are supposed to have widespread rain in NSW today but I doubt it's happening.
Good luck to you lot way out
Cheers
