Laurie ,
I got back from Dunolly last night . I could not find anything but .22 projectiles , cases etc ! Went to your spot - my friend got a half a gram there , but nothing else .
I think the place has had such a flogging , that to find much you would have to spend a week or two out in the bush looking for a patch .
We were using 24 inch elliptical coils and others . WA was a lot easier for a mug like me !
Thanks for all your help ,
Willie .

I will be going across to
Cue in June , then to
Nullagine and then
Halls Creek . Back home to
Sydney then up to Tiboobloodyburra in August .
I might go to Hillend or the Shalhaven before then , or maybe down to Mogo !
Willie .

The boat is a Sonata 760 Sports....
And the event was the annual Jervis Bay Challenge...
Even had some humpback whales frolicking amongst the yachts..

Dave
went sailing on the bay as
well "Grace 2" ,The Oceanic 46 with the Otto bin on the back & the BBQ going most of the race & we won the best dressed crew again, 4 years in a row, our crew only enters to have a great day thats probably why we come in last most years & all that tacking jiving only gets in the way of drinking
have to say G-day next time

G'day Vince
Yea- noticed you at the start line- Was someone cooking a bbq on the back rail?? Did you ' bottom out' going over the bar back into Husky?? (We were at the pub by then)...
And I did notice the '
bright' shirts...
Ours is a Blue hull- gold stripe..name Katie ll ..sail #760..
we finished across the line between the 2 Navy boats..
Apart from the lack of wind, we were very lucky with the weather.

Dave
that was me cooking at the start line (Bacon & eggs) yes we did touch coming in but we new there was only going to be a few mm in it & our tender would drag us thru if needed (the Duck with twin 175hp) as it was left on the mooring at Vincentia we sailed over & picked it up, & then came back in to Husky. Went to the Pub only for the presentation
Yes we were lucky with the weather, When I woke up & looked out over the bay & could not see it thru the Rain, I thought it was going to be a miserable day. If the wind was like yesterday (had 35Knotts at 1330hrs of plantation Point) we would have had line honours, but there would not be many in the race.
