Tony is usually at the NSW
camping shows.
I have one and and bought it after bludging cooking space on a mates a few times. Works
well on a fire and can also be set up over a gas ring.

Bidgi Barbi - the old plough disc.
a great bit of kit. Yeah he was at the "Ultimate" Outdoor show in
Sydney last weekend, I made sure I gave him personal praise for his products.
I have the larger bidgi and it always comes bush with me. It gets used at home regularly too, I haven't used the gas bbq for years.
You don't need much of a fire to heat them up and they can also be used as base heat for other things like a cast iron skillet. eg. If I cannot have a fire, putting the skillet on the duel fuel stove localises the heat too much so if I am doing a risotto it can be a bit fiddly. Simply placing the bidgi over the flame and the skillet on the bidgi fixes that.
Also, due to the design with the three legs, you can create a "pool" area to hold oil for frying onions or bread pieces etc.
