We are going to be in a 6 berth motorhome in
Sydney on New Year's Eve, and would like to know a good place to stay so that we can easily get into the city for the fireworks / celebrations - does anyone know of a
campsite near to the city, or one with good rail / bus links? Thanks

Give the Lane Cove National
Park a call and see if you will fit.
Cheers

Gooday,
Definitely Lane Cove River C/Van
Park. Great
Park, Great location, for a Family it has lots of wildlife pool if you need.
Make sure to make a reservation, was there over Xmas New Year 2006-07, first time in 7 years have seen it packed.
Have just returned from 2 weeks there.
Cheers,
Borma604.

G'day scorpionuk,
Sydney Lakeside, Narabeen is a Big4 with excellent facilities, right on the lake and next to the surf beach. Bus stop to city right at door although takes around 45 minutes. We are staying there as I write.
Good discount for CMCA members, so would be worth considering joining if you intend staying a while. As with everywhere at Xmas, book early.
Cheers,
Paul

Thanks - decided to go with
Sydney Lakeside, as the others that were suggested were booked up or had a minimum stay requirement. Looking forward to the evening now! Thanks for everyones help.
