Our Son & his wife,
had a car on ebay, got nothing but, people wanting to purchase it for less offers and ones that had no intensions of buying.

Stuffed around by three buyers that wanted to have a look at it.

FYI, I have seen a couple a bit cheaper up here but don't have the extras that you do on yours.

I feel that your price is right, but until the elections I think people are holding on to money.

I noticed today that we have a lot more Pop Tops / Caravans / Cars / 4WD's being sold on the side of the road.

It was like a used car lot.

Plus I think with the price of houses and interest rates are really starting to hurt people.
Especially the younger ones that enjoy the 4WD scene.
Fuel prices on top of that are another problem.

A lot of families are trying to survive with one vehicle.

Your pfobably right about the fuel costs too , and it will get worse to after the elections, although when on the road there still seems to be a lot of travellers on the move but dropping off up North now until next year,
Oh and a good answer from you too .Well done.

DougT, on the Late news the other day, they said ULP will hit $1.50 a lt in Sydney by Christmas, so I guess in the country place like here will go over $1.70 a lt.

We are paying $1.39.9 now for ULP so who knows.

We are only another state of the USA for now any way.

Might have to buy a Scooter , but it really don't matter what the price people still have to get around and freight has to move .

DougT,
I think that is one of the major problems, Johnny is out of touch and thinks that we all live in major cities, and have Trains / Buses right at our door steps.

Not so in country areas.

Might see the odd tourist bus go by but I would not count on using it to do shopping or travelling to and from work.

The booking fees would break you.

Well we won't get into a political debate here but really the PM don't control the price of oil, What I will add is that if there is a change in Govt' then be prepare, prices will soar and it won't be Rudds fault , He won't be able to control what will happen after elections .

Gday Laura

I sold my GU on ebay recently , one thing i did notice was that i had a few lookers , but no one seemed keen to start the bidding, once i had a few bids though it just sort of took off from there , especially the last day , up till then i didn't think it was going to make the reserve, i ended up getting $28500.00 so was pretty happy with that , if i had to sell again , wouldn't hesitate to use ebay........i must admit though i do agree with 96 and Doug T re fuel prices .........Cheers......Dave

BTW , great to see a good post from 96....keep it up mate
