Cordillo Downs Feedback

Be aware that along the SA section of the route, that the track is often the lowest feature in the landscape, and hence it is a route to be cautious of during/after rain. Also, take it slowly through creek crossings.

We were told a couple of years ago, that the state govt no longer pays Cordillo Downs to maintain the track, so they can't afford to do it themselves. Probably not eneough votes for "Media Mike" to worry him and his cronies.

Happy trails, Mike

There was maintenance going on when we were there in April, but the problem is really to do with the way the road was built. It seems to me that it was just graded out of the landscape, whereas along the Queensland section it is built up above the landscape. regards JD
