Hey fellow exploroz, thanks heaps to the many people who gave me great advice on my last thread. It was
well worth all the advice. Now, I need some more!!!
I need to mount my 45l Engel in the back of my cruiser. I have purchased a Gen Engel slide and dont want to spend 2k on a draw system to mount it to! Any ideas or diagrams on building something would be great. Cheers

Hi Cameron,
No diagrams needed mate.
All you need is a sheet of 12mm plywood which can be cut to the shape of your cruiser's floor layout with the aid of some cardboard templates to fit around the wheel arches, etc.
The idea is to mount the fridge slide to the plywood base and bolt the plywood base to the floor of the cruiser using the existing seat/seatbelt attachment points in the floor. The plywood can be covered in marine style carpet if you want it to look a little smicko. (stuck on with contact adhesive)
This was how I had a fridge slide fixed to the floor in the back of the Jack, before I invested in Drawer System.

Cam, as you most likely wont want to leave the fridge bolted in permanently it could an idea to weld a light steel frame out of 10mm box that clips into the 3rd row
seat mounting positions held in place with a turnbuckle or ratchett to the tie down ring in the corner. Your slide could simply be bolted to that. This would allow removal in less than a minute yet still be able to fit the other 1/2 of the
seat.
Cheers Craig.............
