Its in Mt barker SA so should be easy to get in contact with them. Don't know if they still do them but they used to run how to build wooden boat courses and these were what you praticed on first.

Shane, as well as plans, Duck Flat also carry a good range of books for the home builder and the enthusiast (canoe enthusiasts?). Their workmanship is also of the highest quality should you need them to do anything. Pretty exxy but you get what you pay for. They also used to run classes when they were in the city but not sure now. It's worth having a look for interests sake if nothing else.

Good luck.

Shane,
It may be worth googling Wooden Boats, Franklin,(town) in Tassie.
All their stuff is real magic in design and construction.
That's if you are into wooden craft.

Hawke Fiberglass in WA make Fiberglass one and also maybe plastic(polypropylene is almost indestructible) ones too.

Disco.

You could design your own and build it from wood strips. The design program is for Kayaks, but it wouldn't be hard to build it, square the top of the forms off and just leave the deck off.

Or build a kayak with as many cockpits as you need. The software is very easy to use.
