Time to head off

Well the day has finally arrived after nearly 1 year of careful planning and feedback from others we are heading off on our trip around the block.Swmbo my son and myself are very excited and looking forward to the trip and the day is finally here heading of today first stop near eden then south and around the bottom to wa then up to nt and across to cooktown then of course back down the coast ..Have got 9months up our sleeves so hope to be able to appreciate quite a few of Australia's wonderful sites and just get out there! Will obviously be posting trip updates and questions in the forum so keep a look out for them.(lol no pun intended) Hope to speak to you all from the road HOOROO :)

Geez I feel sorry for you. nine months of exploring, doing what you want to when you want. No work deadlines. Just having to take in the sights of what this great country has to offer & meeting heaps of happy folk doing the same as you, all willing to share their experiences & provide a good laugh & conversation with you.
Never mind, it will be all over by this time next year & you & family will be able to get on with the reality of life!!

I am heading off on Sunday for a short one...and in March I am off around the block via the Centre (I've been to The ISA) and I am doing it by myself.

No one to tell me where to stop, what to eat, what to drink, when to go to bed, when to get up, when to come home from fishing,golf or drinking....but then again...company would be nice :)
