Well it seems that Lucy is over his ailment and on the road to recovery, certainly to mischief. Guess what he tried to pin on me today???? They say a pic is worth a thousand words, well 999 and counting.

Then he wrapped it up and to where it goes I not know.

The look on his face was positively Robbo.

Crikey!!! What a fine figure of a man!!!

If I were a betting man, I would say that flag is destined for a point somewhere west of where it has been residing until now....

Bonz....glad you caught him in the act..... he's a deadset scoundrel

I'm just waiting for Lucky to get his fat head on this post. I can just see his response now.......

"Once again I have found it necessary to rescue the Queerlander's flag from being knocked off.....each time I rescue it, some armshole takes a photo of me in the act of said rescue and tries to turn it around by concocting some story that _I_ am the one doing the wrong thing. Well trendsetters, let me tell you, it's those MissanNissan dunderheads that are to blame for this, especially the Hon Member for Terang"..... or words to that effect.... hahaha

Roachie,

I was always told the person that proclaims his innocents the
"most" is usually the "most" guilty I could be misguided I guess in this matter. Or is it if the shoe fits :)

Nothing like a mate with a camera to have the upper hands :)

Roachie - You! sir are a disgrace. Why anyone would contemplate listening to, let alone placie any credence in your utterances - the ravings of the king of fetishes - I'll never know.

Aussiechef - I would have thought you would have been otherwise pre-occupied by enjoying the best X-mas present you are ever going to get, whilst organising a suitable x-mas present for young George

A big ball and chain to keep him around the house for awhile.

Hot Damn! he is a lucky boy.

Unbelievable!

All my working life I have been trained to watch out for hidden cameras and I missed this one - Damn!

Anyway trendsetters I received an email from FLAGPOL (Branch of INTERPOL) last week which advised that their Australia agent -Trevor Ribbit - had been working the Pyrenee Flag Theft case, and apparently had identified its location.

They supplied a GPS waypoint which I entered into OZI-EX and after checking a number of maps, guess what - Yep! good old Terang in the Western District sticking out like a sore thumb.

The 'home' to the Right Honorable Minister for 'Anything and Everything' himself - Arfur Bonzarrelli aka BONZ.

Amazing what you find when you make an un-announced visit isn't it.

The galoot had the hide to be actually flying it in the front yard.

Took me 3 seconds to recover it, bag it and secure it in the JEEP.

I then fined the said thief 2-3 beers , ate his food, Peed in - over and around his toilet, kissed and groped his wife, suggested to his son how he could bankrupt dad in the future, pointed out to his SWMBO numerous jobs that needed doing around the house (using power tools of course) told him in front of his SWMBO where to get those Marks Adaptor Portal Axels he so desperately wants at $15,000 an axel.

You should have seen her eyes open up at that one. Guess who slept in the little bed last night.

I thought it was a good time to leave then as I could she was desperate to talk to him about something.

The Flag is back with the "custodian' and getting ready for a heaps of new adventures.

PS

That Trevor Ribbit guy mentioned something in his report about a chic called 'Pauline' in Queerland trying to get her hands on the flag by some stealthy, devious underhanded manner.

If BONZ is still in one piece after I left yesterday, I feel I should point out the following so that his character is only assassinated as much as reasonably necessary.

(1) BONZ did not steal the subject flag.

(2) BONZ is the pigeon caught red handed - handling stolen goods.

Enquiries are continuing to establish the identity and current whereabouts of the person/s responsible for committing the aforementioned offence.

Justice will prevail and someone WILL be 'pinned' for this matter whether they are guilty or not (LOL)

Hey Madam Lucy,
I thought that some one of your high ability and experience would have easily tracked down the culprit.
You must be in retirement mode. LOL

Des,

He's actually taken time off work (under the guise of having had some dastedly medical condition and subsequent operation), just so he could spend copious amounts of time trying to find out why his droopy won't run properly. Well, actually, that is a lie (I am being far too kind; as usual)......the droopy has been pronounced DOA at the workshop and Lucky is off work in a perpetual state of mourning for the next 40 days and 40 nights.

Some of you may have noticed (but have been far too protective of Lucky's feelings to have said anything to his face, of course), that his beloved droop-carrier has been suffering from a rather obvious afflication for some time now. I speak, of course, about the tumor on the bonnet....... a large, uncontrollable swelling; strangely enough, not all that much unlike the swelling you may have seen between Lucky's ears!!!

Anyway, dear reader, the diagnosis has not been good right from the outset and although they tried every tool in the box, the specialists were unable to stem the swelling and it was decided (against Lucky's wishes I might add) that the kindest thing to do would be to withdraw the life support tubes and allow the wretched thing to pass on to that big rust pile in the sky (where all the other blandcruisers end up).

RIP Droopy

Aw! Roachie (take your pills)

You are such a jealous coota - just cause I didn't come to your place and give you and yours my 'special treatment package'.

Also, No! I am not coming over there to give you a thrashing with a dried flower arrangement - so get used to the idea.

Des-L

My enquiries revealed a conspiracy by your 'mates' (so you think) to have you pinged as the the Flag Thief.

However, I located an eye witness (well they seemed to have two of them anyway) who described the perpetrator of the said crime to a 'T'.

And, the nominated suspect has 'priors' for 'lifting' things from vehicles when the owner leaves same unattended.

So I had to let everyone think you had it to fool the real thief in to a sense of despair at what they had done.

Not to worry, there is an appropriate punishment being drafted to deal with guilty culprit.

Ah Miss Lucy, My confidence in you is now fully restored the fact that you have detected those dastardly fiends.
If you wouldn't mind, could you please advise me who the culprits are as I may have grounds for a civil matter for slurring my good name.
Yours in deepest respect and awe
