I have tried to place my attendance at the national gathering, BUT it tells me I have to log on first. I am logged on as I am posting this post. What's wrong with the system or is the whole world really against me.

Sorry Vince, there is small issue when moving from .aspx pages to .asp pages for some users it cannot carry across your cookie used for logon. I don't know the exact technical problem (that's David dept) but David is aware of it and it's on his To Do list, but I am advised that we just have to live with the re-logging on issue for now on the occassions that it occurs. There's also 3 CPUs that run the databases and so this problem is almost random and intermittent. For other people having sudden instances of being logged off - yes you will sometimes get logged off by the system because of the pattern of pages types you've moved between - its very easy just to relogon again, but yes annoying. It happens to me all the time because I move around the site so much so I hear you! And I'm always complaining to he that must be obeyed (HTMBO - it is never SWMBO in this place I can assure you). This info can be headed by others with the same problem so we appreciate your patience and understanding if you can bear with it for a while longer please.

"There's also 3 CPUs that run the databases" ???
I know servers have 1, 2, 4 or 8 CPU's (some high end servers have 16 cpu's!!!) but never heard of 3 or have AMD released their 3-core CPU already?

Michelle, FYI, I have a similar problem occasionally when I do a refresh of the page. Instead of refreshing now, I click on the Forum key and reopen the page and that works fine.

Hi Sand man.I was worried that I had a bad case of paranoia so it is good to know that I am sane and just hated.
Tried the "" at the bottom of the Trip / Gatherings page and it still wants me to login again. SO. I am going to take my bat & ball and go home to cry by myself until July when I will head out the gathering and surprise everyone

Aaaaaaaaaah! It's a Nissan thing Vince.

Take the hint and piff that Missan-Nissan of yours and all will be 'sweet' again.

Nothing worst than a bad case of Nissan-itis, just ask Roiachie.
