Yeah problems getting in to it from a "link" within a page. If you open a seperate browser tab and go to the home page and then "Places", it works ok. Cheers. Mick.

Guys,

please send me details of what errors you get when you try to use the various methods to get into places. I have been testing and testing with various platforms, various speeds of access and cannot break it so I want to get feedback directly on these types of issues - send to david@exploroz.com - thanks.

I just checked out Mick O's suggestion of going into "places" from the home page and found that it worked a lot better. I do have problems getting into it from the forum page but having said that had no problem going in through Doug's link if any of that makes sense.

Cheers

Hi David,

the problem may have been fleeting but it did occur both last night and today. I got a "Server" error warning (not a "404") that basically stopped the browser page. I checked and it wasn't my provider. I noticed that it was then impossible to log back onto the exploroz home page. Just checked again going thru Doug's link and all is OK. Probably just a ghost in the machine.

Cheers. Mick

Hi Doug, glad you liked my wife's photo of termite mounds. Damien at Ex Oz is the lad upgrading the Trek layout and notes, not forgetting that it's David the owner who's the computer whiz. Most of the Litchfield pix are from the missus' Canon Powershot from our trip in 2005. She snaps 100 a day and every second night we have a slide show on the 12 volt TV and edit out the duds. Came back after 10 weeks with 7000 shots. We hope to do a Cape York trip next May in 8 weeks from Sydney. I hope the wet won't be too late. Cheers, Warrie
