Little off-topic.
Today I was preparing the caravan to go away. Found late afternoon that small gas strut for c’van boot is stuffed. Want to replace it pronto so rang local Bunnings to see if they have any. Receptionist sought advice and came back “Yes, they’re in Aisle 16”.
So I thought great, and ripped down there. Walked up Aisle 16 - gardening equipment aisle (??) – thought there might be a problem. Then I saw
sign at other end of aisle – “Sack Trucks”. LOL Found out Bunnings don’t sell gas struts - bugger. LOL
So are there any suggestions where I’d get a small gas strut in NE of
Adelaide on a Sunday/Monday (for a reasonable price)?
Cheers JD

Ill second this guy for his service. I didnt buy gas strats, but I did buy locker handles from him. Easy to deal with, fast and the best prices I could find in australia.

For just a little strut with hardly any weight, Supacheap sells a wide range.
Just take the old one for length etc.
For struts on a camper etc, I use "The strut man"

I've had nothing but bad experience with regassed struts, Only use new replacements now and have not had a problem. Any good spare parts man can get them at a good price. Cheers
