i dunno i ripped
mine into about 170 peices all over the drive and put a locker in. you can tighten them up very tight with a diff guy for about $150. but i think you can do that with lots of other diffs too.

Don't know about special, but I do know that you have to change the oil every 20000K or the clutches will start to grab. Nav.
