Hi Guys,

My flywheel (dual mass) 3ltr. is on it's way out, i'm thinking of instaling a solid flywheel & clutch kit.
Does anyone know what sort of price I would pay?
In-order to remove the flywheel & clutch does the engine need to be removed? Some mechanics told me it dosen't but I herd otherwise...

Thanks

I had mine done early in the year. The kit was around $750 from memory and that was a heavy duty 4by kit. I had the engine being swapped out anyway so can't comment on what it takes to change it.

Cheers. Mick

Hi marijan,

In the service & repair manual, it does say to remove the engine in order to replace the flywheel & clutch. However, i have heard that it can be done without taking the engine out...

Some people said you can do it without removing the engine here
