Just checked the EO shop for Desert Parks Pass for the upcoming National Gathering at Innaminca and notice all they have is 2007 Edition $95.00.
Will this one cover for 2008 or has EO not updated this year yet?
Cheers Ray

Its 12 months from date of issue so the date is of no real relevance anyway.

Hi Ray

Those croweaters make it pretty confusing. Maybe a bit to much pea in their piefloaters.

I always get confused as to whether or not I need one. Depends also on where you will be camping ... Willem?? (Let me guess - Cullyamurra??)

If you buy a Desert Parks permit now - you will be fine.Visiting Innamincka

Also seems as if you can get a Day Entry and camping permit for Coongie.

Having said all that - if you buy a Desert Parks pass now all will be fine. Might buy mine later just in case I go back in 11 months time.

Andrew

Do as I say, Not as I do!

Haviing paid $95 for the DPP, you can renew it prior to the 12 month period for a reduced amount. ($50 I think). You don't get the map & book with the renewal, but most people don't need full replacement every 12 months.

I intended to do just this, bit SHMBO put the A4 sized book with the receipt attached "in a safe place" and when the time came to renew, I couldn't find it.

Actually, I preferred the A5 sized book that used to be issued as it was compact enough to carry in the vehicle.

The 2008 version is about to be released, but as others have mentioned, the 2007 version is still valid for 12 months from date of issue, if you can still get it.

The RAA have returned all 2007 stock in anticipation of receiving the 2008 replacement, but it's a bit slow in coming.

Hi Guys,

I have received the 2008 Desert Park Passes today. They will be added to the EO Shop by the end of the week. Rest assured that you will be receiving the most up-to-date pass when you place your order.

Any questions, just let me know.

Regards,
Michael
