Gday all, I cant find the AUX socket fuse in my 2004 GU patrol. The cigarette lighter fuse is under the dash but not the AUX socket. I have also looked in the engine bay fuses and cant find. My only other thought is it maybe inline somewhere in the circuit. Can someone help. Many thanks Michael

Michael,

Is the socket as originally supplied by the manufacturer?

Most auxiliary socket installations have the active wire connected directly to the auxiliary battery positive terminal via an in-line fuse.

Surely it would have to be in the main fuse block that contains the cig. fuse, or they might share the same fuse. Pull it and check for power in the socket. Doubt it would be in-line, as that is not Nissan form.

Same fuse box as the Ciggy lighter

Ciggy lighter is fuse 13
Front Power (socket) is fuse 19
Fuse 46 (maybe a different box) supplies the rear socket via a relay

Thanks to all who replied.
Star Bug, thanks , yes it is fuse 19. I did look and look and did comtemplate removing all the 15 and 20 amp fuses to be sure it wasnt there but never thought Nissan would label it as fuse 19 and "Head lamp wiper" :) Thanks again. Michael
