UBD street directories have bridge hieghts in them, you could try them direct or the RTA in NSW.

Rod
Not looked at UBD's for a long time, Brisbane was the only that had it , does Sydney UBD have it now..???
The Melway's Greater Melbourne Street Directory has the heights on the page but you would need a magnifying glass to read them.

There are some as POI's to go into the GPS , They copied them from my Garmin File , these are for most other brands.

When I used to drive trucks there was a placard on the dashboard that told you how hgh the vehicle was. Being a pantec the height never changed. That way when you approached a low overhead clearance you would know if you would fit or not. Unlike moron's that tow 5th wheelers through Melbourne and can't see a 3M x 2M sign infront of them telling them of low clearance and probably not knowing thier own height.

I know that my Prado with roof rack is 2.05m high and check things like undercover carpark clearances are OK before I enter. I have measured and know how high my caravan is as well.

It would certainly help to know of low clearance so you could plan our route through a city. A timely question indeed.
