When I used to drive trucks there was a placard on the dashboard that told you how hgh the vehicle was. Being a pantec the height never changed. That way when you approached a low overhead clearance you would know if you would fit or not. Unlike moron's that tow 5th wheelers through
Melbourne and can't see a 3M x 2M
sign infront of them telling them of low clearance and probably not knowing thier own height.
I know that my Prado with roof rack is 2.05m high and
check things like undercover
carpark clearances are OK before I enter. I have measured and know how high my caravan is as
well.
It would certainly help to know of low clearance so you could plan our route through a city. A timely question indeed.
