We have isolated the source of an oil leak that occurs during highway rather than city driving. It's in the high /low range selector. Because the oil leaks onto the front drive shaft there is oil everywhere from that point The actual oil level in the transfer case has not dropped markedly but it looks bad
We are also having difficulty finding a service manual.
Is there anyone out there with info or suggestions?.

Hi Ali,
I am a member of the Holden 4wd club, have not heard of this problem from other members. Have you tried the specialist Jackaroo forums?

Good luck

Ali,
If you can supply an email address I can send you a .pdf file of a "Trooper" workshop manual which is to all intents the same.
This document contains both Right Hand and Left Hand models.

Bugger!!!
Tried to upload the pdf file but it's too big and just returns an error.
The file size is 121,285 KB.
I will try and find the source site I downloaded it from.
Sorry Ali, I thought it would be easy"-((
