What a land of contrasts, on Sunday as we were making our way back to
Devonport their was snow all arround Great Lake, we decided to do a detour up past the old Antartic training station to Lake Ada where it was a full blown blizzard.
Back in
Bathurst monday night I found it to hot to sleep(probaly about 18) lol.
Anyone going to Tassie I recomend going to Lake St Clair and Going on the ferry boat that goes to the top of the lake every couple of hours. The scenery up the top is mind blowing. We spent 3 days camped at the top of the lake. It is the deepest (174m) and clearest natural lake in Australia. You could see the bottom in 4m of water
Cheers Pete
