rope track

ok im after some rope sewn in webbing that is pulled through rope track. it is for the caravan. i want to sew it to shape cloth. does anyone know who is the supplier?

Shane, I just had a shadecloth cover for the offside of my van. I know the stuff your talking about but the canvas guy who did mine has just used used a 2" wide plastic trim/edge all the way around the shadecloth. All he did was put a length of ~3mm poly rope into the top edge which I've fed thru the sail track. If you were going to make it your self this would be the cheapest way.

was this a clear colour? have seen this but was hoping for webbing for strength.

Hi Shane,
The stuff you are looking for is called "KEDER" Tape. I just rang around all the motor trimmers and Upholsterors until I found someone with it. It will be about $5.00 meter. Getting it sewn onto my annexe extension as we speak.

The edging is that HD vinyl type material and he has sown the rope into it. Its exactly the same as how my orginal jayco bed flies and awning were made. I've had no issues with the jayco ones. The rope and everything on mine is white to match the original bedflies and reflect heat.
