Coopers Creek (Vic) pub closure

A mate was telling me today, that the new pub at
Coopers Creek has closed down. Can anyone confirm this.

The general consensus is that it is closed & won't reopen.
I live only a few kms from there, the big problem has been with bogans, I have been told that the
police will contest any reapplication for a liquor license.

Thanks for that. Must admit I was a bit surprised when I came across the new pub a while ago. The old Coppermine pub was put there for a reason, and I was a bit perplexed how the new pub was going to survive, given it's location and lack of marketing.

Its funny. When people mention "Coopers Creek" I immediately associate it with
Windorah in Qld. Not just west of
Bega !
By the way the shire of Bogan starts just north of
Cobar, so I guess Bogans come from there :))

Bogans, as I understand it, were originally discovered in Hairy's back yard. They then multiplied and started breeding with Cane Toads.
