Just curious. Is an old worn lsd more slippery than a standard diff? I have a new lsd and was wondering what I was in for. Cheers Hardy

Hardy,
I don't think anything can be more slippery than what is commonly known as an open diff, any resistance to turning offered by an LSD is better than an open diff, does that help?Keep the shiny side up

An "old" LSD can only get as "slippery" as an open (standard) diff. It can't get more "slippery".
Of course an old LSD can always go the other way and lock completely/permanently.Talk is cheap ...

A new Toyota lsd is slipperier than a worn out Nissan lsd.
