On Feb 11th Sigman posted the remarks added

(But it AIN'T Holden front end (but based on the Ford setup- upper/lower control arms, not McPherson strut)
It AIN'T a Holden (or any GM) engine configuration (based on Ford block)
It AIN'T a Holden rear diff/axle setup (based on Ford setup)
It AIN'T a Holden gearbox...(it's a Hollinger, based on European Ford)
And even the VE body shell- isn't a VE bodyshell. It had to be shortened severely to fit the Project Blueprint wheelbase- on the VZ wheel base, for the 'common floor pan' also based on Ford design.)

Doug,

They have Dunlop control tyres but also have Bridgestone on the front guards.

Strange.

Dunlop is the one and Tyre Sponsor for V8 Supercars the Organisation, Although Ricks car is sponsered by Bridgestone the rules are the car must run Dunlop.
------------------------------------------------------------------

Dunlop has been at the forefront of motoring development for over a century, becoming one of the world’s biggest and most respected tyre brands designing, developing and producing tyres that constantly question and push the limits of technology.

The Dunlop V8 Supercar control tyre is manufactured at the company's specialised racing tyre factory in Nagoya, Japan, where each of the 9000 tyres provided annually during the 2006 calendar, take more than three hours to be hand-crafted.

The tyre supplied by Dunlop is required to operate at maximum efficiency in the widest of racing environments. Whether it be hot or cold conditions, high speed or tight circuits, the Dunlop tyre has excelled for competition use. The logistics of supplying 9,000 tyres to the V8 Supercar race teams in any given season is an enormous.

From the world of racing to the everyday road, Dunlop is committed to providing high-performance tyres. What is learned on the track is applied to the road through Dunlop’s extensive product portfolio which includes tyres such as the ultra-high-performance Dunlop SP Sport Maxx.
