I had myn done on my commodore by a mob in Silverwater. I cant remember the name but will chase it up for you if that area is close enough for you. That was a while ago but presume they would still be trading. I think I still have receipt in files. Regards Steve M

That would be metropolitan driveshafts I think that they are in James Ruse Drive about 100m North of Parramatta rd on the eastern side.
Good to deal with and won't do work for the sake of it. If there is a better or cheaper way they will tell you.
No affilliation just used them about 6mths ago.

Dave

Hi Dave yep thats the place. The one I mentioned below was for my ski boat. Just went back through the receipts after I saw your reply and found the one for the commodore. Not sure why I sent the shaft for the boat down to Sydney maybe Metro didnt do it cant remember ?? Must be old age catching up. Regards Steve M

I can recommend BPM tailshafts at Dee Why. Ph 9982 4933. Could be if it has a dent that a new tube is the only answer. How do I know? My troopie suffered the same fate and got retubed.

Over a period of fifteen years in the motor trade I have used a number of companies and have had some shocking jobs.
I saw a real bleep ty job where foam was injected into the tube and spun untill set as their way of balancing.

I would use one company only! Metropolitan Drive shafts, James Ruse Drive at Granville, just in off Parramatta Road.

These people are good, they know their business, I have never had a bad job and they have the equipment/expertise and dynamically balance every shaft they repair/modify.

No relationship other than being a happy customer.
