Was driving on the Hume the other day when I was passed by a new Commodore ute. He'd gone to some trouble to remove the old lion Holden badge from the front grille and replaced it with the Chevrolet bowtie logo. Sure it might have a Chev derived engine but why the Chev badge?
Then I saw an old
WB ute with the B&S stickers all over it and the mudflaps on the back proclaiming "Kenworth".
Don't these blokes want to admit they drive a Holden?
Or is it that they think an alternative badge makes their car more "desirable"?
If that's the case, why don't they put Nissan badges on their clapped out Toyotas???

Why not? He's got Chev parts under the bonnet... There's plenty of 4WD's out there with ARB, TJM, Lightforce, etc. parts on them & the owners have their stickers plastered all over the car...

I wouldn't single out Holden drivers on this one... I've seen plenty of Fords with the same stuff on them... Seen plenty of other utes with it, too...
Cheers, Brad
