Oziexplorer, Vista and mouse style USB GPS

I have just bought a mouse USB GPS, I have installed the Vista driver and using the Ozi GPS utility I see that it has found NMEA input on Port 9 at 9600 Baud and I have setup Ozi with these settings and saved them. When I look at the GPS fix data in Ozi I get the message "waiting for NMEA data... " how long should I have to wait? It has been hours. Any help appreciated.

OK I have worked it out.
I hadn't entered my serial and code and now it works.
