Greetings - its been a while since i had to go to Sydney airport - domestic side to pick someone up , and will be doing so in about 1 week

does anyone know the height restriction for the car park ? with a lift kit and a roof cage on the Nissan - i may be too tall and may have to make other arrangements -- so does anyone know the height limit ???

got no chance in the under cover...they are all baically 1.8m - 2.1m

We used the long term car park that i not under cover....I will have a look at what the place is called but as you turn off the main drag almost into the airport, turn left and it will take you past the helipad etc. It is out that way and has buses every 15 minutes to and from airport for free. It cost us around $40 for 4 days.....

The height is fairly low - it was something we didn't think of when we went their to pick our son up from the domestic airport. With a lift kit, boat loader and boat on top there was no way we could get thru.

We ended up packing at the cab's petrol station down the road and walking back. Otherwise you have to park about 3 - 4 ks away at the motel and cafe area.

You can drive around and pick them up from the taxi bay at the front if you don't need to greet them on arrival.

Park at the Crispy Cremes and walk down to the arrivals area find them then go get the car and do a lap to pick them up.

You won't fit in 99% of the car park if you are more than 2.0m and in some cases you can park but to get out is near impossible as the roof heights change.
Also look out for the roof heights near the speed bumps (from experience)

Cheers Kev

There's an open area you can park at ground level, same cost. Maybe you'll have a bit of a walk, but hell ..owning a fourbie is supposed to be good for you!

based on this, I would love to see a website that lists all car parks and their height restrictions so you can plan ahead.
