This is an extract from the SMH article
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
For weeks now rumours originating from within Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast have claimed that relations between Terri Irwin and her father-in-law, Bob Irwin, had broken down, that Bob had left the family "compound" at the zoo and was upset with the direction the Irwin empire was headed.

"Irwin rumour gets the bite"

Personally I would tell them to **** off.
Gutter press at it's worst
A family has lost one of its most loved ones; a father, a husband, a son and all these pathetic rumour mongers can do is try to cause further distress. Have they no idea what such a trauma does to people, do they care...? Do they hell - as long as it sells newspapers or get's TV coverage. It's more than possible there is trouble within the family, given their recent stress, however is having that plastered across a newspaper likely to help!?
I suggest people contact these hyenas and tell them to desist.
Pathetic little runts who seek to make money from a family's distress.

I believe that Bob Irwin is on Australian Story tonight ABC channel 2. I would prefer to hear any comments from him tonight.

From the Courier Mail, Saturday 5-4-2008 page 24,
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Documents seen by The Courier-Mail show Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and his wife Terri had established the Netherlands-based Atlas Trustees Ltd Employee Entitlement Fund in June, 2005 in order to motivate workers so they could be retained. However employees of the zoo say they have not received any money from the fund, and did not even know it existed. "I can't remember HR giving me anything about it," another worker said. Zoo officials have denied they avoided paying taxes with offshore financial transactions that have landed them in a civil court in
Melbourne.

Does this make 'the point' any clearer????????
