Rob, we came from Innaminka to Tiboobura that way last year would definately recomend it to Strezeleki , easy track only a couple of washouts last year. Pay your track fee at homestead ($20) they will give you a mud map & also have accom at old managers house. Several good spots along track to camp but cant give locations as i didn't log them, ask at homestead. You will love the 40 lane hyway across Bollards Lagoon. Bore track to Innaminka is sign posted at most turns you will love it throuht there. If you go to Birdsville from Innaminka use Walkers Xing track as i recon the dunes that way are better scenery than the Simpson as you go along between them instead up of up & over them. have a great trip & let me know what you think when you get back.Regards Bob

Rob & BJ, I plan to use Bollard's Lagoon Track in September (late), would also be interested to know how you, or others, think we will go towing our "Track" Off-Road Camper Trailer with a 100 Series L/C on that road in-bound to Innamincka ??
Cheers, The Footdoc

I went in early october and at that time of year (unless we were lucky) you should be no probs if there has been no recent rain.

Footdoc if it rains you'll have problems on any of the roads in that area if you're towing. I followed a 100series towing a 6X4 with a tinny on top out of Tibooburra when the roads were just opened after a day of rain. He lasted about 4km before the trailer dragged him into the edge on a slightly cambered corner. Remember that the roads in that area turn into something akin to a skating rink after rain and an Off road camper makes progress nearly impossible. You'll be fine if it's dry!! Have fun!!

Bollards is defintely worth the money. We camped about 10km from the northern boundary. It was a great spot.

Bore track was closed on June 10 due to bogs and people getting stuck, you will need to check with/pay at homestead before proceeding. Strezeleci should be closed due to flooding but is passible with effort, any doubts use Moomba road.
