What is the current going rate to get an Airtech
snorkel fitted to a 100 Series (diesel 1HZ)??
I got a price from the 4Wd accessory place up here and am a little shocked with their price. They want close to $700 to supply and fit, is this the current rate for a
snorkel??
Cheers Kev

Hi Kev & Darkie,
I just looked at the price of a Safari
Snorkel from ARB and the want $453.00 plus $160.00 to fit it making a total of $613.00.
This will give you a price to compare, got it out of ARB price book.
Hope it helps,
David

I may end up with a Safari yet and fit it myself cause there wasn't much change out of the $700 for them to fit an Airtech.

Thanks Steve,
I have fitted a
snorkel before, I did the one on the Triton (it wasn't even a month out of the showroom:))
I am just getting lazy, but to pay over $200, going by your cost of the
snorkel, for someone else to fit it I think I will get active and do it myself.
I wonder what the difference in cost of Safari and Airtech is??
Cheers Kev

Kev baby
Some plumbers PVC, a secondhand Air Ram from the wreckers, a hole saw, some matt black paint. Should'nt cost more than about $60
My ARB Safari
Snorkel cost $190 plus fitting. But then again, Nissans are'nt so grand as T's

Ya getting me worried now Willem baby LOL
Maybe I should
check my lotto ticket, cause I may be millionaire and not know it ha ha I might be able to afford the excessive price for a
snorkel.
Cheers Kev

Hi Kev
I wish I had a Tojo and then I too could overpay for stuff. LOL
I got the Genuine Nissan (Airtech) on a trade order from Hornsby Nissan for $190 for the full kit, and a local panel
shop fitted it for me for $100.
Being a Nissan owner I thought that was expensive, but $700 for a 100LC, Shyte!!!!!!. You guys are made of money eh. You lucky lucky Bast4rds.
In sympathy, Colin.

Get Busy mate, cos lotto's not going to help you.
Have you looked at buying the kit with a trade order, from your nearest dealer (If you
check with a panel beater in your area he may give you an order) and get that local panel
shop to fit it.
Sometimes it's much cheaper than the 4WD shops for this stuff.
Colin.

Geez you Nissan owners are a bunch of cheap-skates!!
Fortunately, Kev, not everyone can be the priviledged!! And I like the signature next to your rig
