I would love to get my greasy, oily hands on a genuine workshop manual for my truck. But since they are imposible to find i would also like any information you have or any good links to websites you know of. If anyone out there needs help with any info for their hilux truck ask about it here cause i have figured a few things out but i would love to get to know my vehicle better.

THanks Ed

have you tried www.Pitstop.net.au

83 Toyota Hilux & 4 Runner 1979 - 1997 Diesel Shop Manual Ellery, Max $49.45

907 Toyota Hilux / 4 Runner 1970 - 1997 Petrol Shop Manual Ellery, Max $49.20

NFI how good these would be.. Best bet would be to try some American sites, you would mave more chance...

imho.

Toyota dont make one manual for this one. they make an engine manual, a driveline manual, and a body manual. These manuals are so detailed you could strip an injector pump yourself (if you had the right tools and a mechanical aptitude) I purchased the engine manual and then bought the gregory's type for the rest. Better be quick if thats what your after though because they had trouble tracking one down for me.

Got it from my local Toyata dealer. Ask him nicely and he will look it up on the system. They can check to see if any other dealer in the country has what your looking for and then order it for you. I got a part from darwin once through the local dealer.( I'm up the mnt's west of sydney)
