Hello all,
I am in need of a service and pre-trip check up and was hoping to get it done at the same time/place. I have looked at the archive and there is a lot of diesel mechanics but very little on petrol
Can someone recommend an honest reasonable mechanic who knows there way around a small petrol 4x4 and can do a pre-trip check up.
Would prefer closer to inner city, north/west side
Tyre news,
I know this is done to death, but the national scheme is coming in next year so from that date 50mm rolling diameter increases will be legal, but until that date only 15mm is allowed... go figure
Your help is appreciated!

I've used Auto Brakes, West End, Mark is the bloke, honest straightforward, easy to
park at and he's been round for decades, which of course is a good
sign for any mechanic. He drives an F250 and I see petrol and diesel 4WD's there all the time. Cafe 20m along the road. He even welded up my footbal club's goal posts for free, probably an apprentice but hey it was a generous gesture.

I can recommend B&P Car Care at Everton Hills. Darren who runs the place is 4WD nut often found racing at landcruiser
park in his Suzuki Jimmy.
Darren was recommended to me about 3 years ago to look after my Patrol 3.0 TD and has done a top job.
His prices are very fair and he would look after you.
Hi contact details are 3353 5046, 2/29 Timms Road, Everton Hills.
Cheers, Patrick

Regarding the tyre size situation, bring on the 50mm national rule I say!! hope
mine last until about that time then there is no excuse from the mrs to go bigger......after all bigger is better right? LOL!!
Cheers, Trevor.
