To all who read 'Waeco Snobbed Me Off'.......
After an email & a phone conversation, Waeco decided on a 'one off' agreement to refund me the full purchase amount of the Thermo cooler I bought.
I had no intention of bagging the company, I was just disappointed in their initial response.. but all has been rectified.
Thanks to everyone who responded with advise - good or bad :-)
The lesson I have learned is to not make a decision on what is 'Advertised' but to research the product thoroughly.

Now it's off to find a fridge to suite my needs & get back on the road.
Cheers & Happy Travels
Jason

I have found Waeco a decent fridge at a reasonable price, and have had good dealings with them.
No affiliation yadda yadda

Did you buy a Thermo Cooler product thinking it was going to be a fridge..??

I didn't read the initial thread, couldn't find it..

Hey,
Long story. The thread is on page 5 (57485).
In short the cooler was advertised as 240v/12v but it doesn't start operating unless there is 13.1 volts & my system runs at around 12.8v. They initially said 'too bad' but I spoke with them again yesterday & explained the '12v advertising' & they agreed to a refund.
All good in the end.
Cheers
Jason
Ps the answer to your question is no :-)

I got dust under my control panel. The dirt was making contact therefore the fridge was changing the temp all by itself! Fixed under warranty after one phone call and getting an address to go drop it off. Very happy!
