Toolinna cove has only about 50m of beach. Guaranteed, this is the only beach between Twighlight Cove and the western end of the cliffs. Access from the top is a bit precarious, but can be done (not for the faint-hearted). There is also a flying fox for getting equipment up/down.
All along that coast, there are reefs, which affect the surf, along with the weather, so it's very hard to say what you could expect on the day. Marine maps might give you a better idea of what waters are protected; the topo maps aren't all that good.
Twighlight Cove is probably best accessed directly south of Cocklebiddy, rather than driving on the beach from Eyre.
On the western end of the cliffs, there is probably about an 8km drive back from the dunes to the cliffs. Be careful with soft sand - we nearly lost a vehicle there a few years back.
Not sure, but I understand that a 4wd club cleared the telegraph track from Baxter memorial east to Twighlight Cove, but can't be sure on this one. Otherwise, it's the highway via Caiguna to get from Twighlight cove to Baxter memorial. Perhaps someone has an update on this.
