Hi all - We are in our 2nd month of a 6 month trek over to the west coast & back & thought it would be fun to post a thread, every week or so, of our travels for anyone interested.
We started our 6 month trek 2 months ago from SEQ (from
Brisbane to the GC then down to Mullumbimby then back to the GC). From there it was up to
Bargara (we own a house there) for a week then up to Rocky & we are now in Tieri visiting friends for a few days. Tieri is a tidy little mining town with friendly laid back people. Our friends both work at Oaky Creek
Mine & are really enjoying living here. They have a great family with 2 kids that are
well behaved & actually play outside (a rarity these days).
