Hi all - From charters Towers we headed over to Magnetic Island for a few days. What a beautiful place. Picnic Bay was our favorite.
From there we headed north to
Mission Beach. It has a Cape Trib crossed with Hastings St look about it now, becoming very trendy.
We stayed at the Big 4 in town, very nice CP,
well maintained, the only let down was having to pay 40c to use the hot plate in the
camp kitchen (& it's not about the money however when your paying $39 per night.....) oh & the one ply
toilet paper :-(
Next Stop
Cairns
Cheers & Happy Travels

Jason,
If I was paying that much I would want more than one ply
toilet paper, dont they realise that it is false economy as you use 2 or 3 times as much and the caravan parks wonder why a lot of people like to freedom
camp.

Thats exactly right Barb. My In-Laws are members of Big 4 & they say the standards are very high on average which as I said the park is very nice....just not on the Toosh :-)
Cheers
