I wish to have a set of 2 standard storage drawers for an 80 series Landcruiser and think $1500 is way too much to spend for a unit that although nice and strong does carry enough storage space ie length and height not suffice....Does anyone out there have the plans required to build a decent set of drawers with 3-$400 worth of materials...The commercial ones are way over priced...thankyou

Hi, if you have the time to make the draws yourself you will certainly save some money. We had a set made by JJ Cabinets P/l at Narellan in Sydney, for our GQ. they weigh 60kgs and are removeable if necessary. they are made of ply and steel. They have been really great. They cost approx $1000-00 which is much cheaper than most of the others on the market. You can contact them at jj@ispdr.net.au Good luck Di.
