Looking for advice on this leg of the trip to Alice, uluru etc, as unwilling to do a return (bactracking) trip via South Oz. Particularly keen for advice about highlights,
places to go, as opposed to quickest route.

Why not just "hop" across the Simpson to
Birdsville and then down to
Marree ?
