For those waiting to find out about the Simpson Desert access here is a photo taken today at 11:30 am. Might ease the tension a bit!Image Could Not Be Found

Thanks Ruth , please do it again same time next week.

Presume thats the sign as you leave town(Birdsville) towards Big Red , as its doesn't refer to Maree to Birdsville normal way.

Maree to Birdsville condition is readily seen on Transport S.A. whereas its much harder to get up to date data across Simpson as in your photo.

Robin, in the next Post I tried to put up the sign going east (about Innamincka and Cordillo Downs) and as I had so much trouble I didn't put up the third post with the sign for going down the BirdsvilleTrack - it says, Open to 4 wd under 3 tonnes.

He's very very new and the key doesn't live at the Police Station.
