Evening,

the countdown is getting smaller (only 6 sleeps) till we leave for cape york for a 6 week stint. we are sort of going up the middle via broken hill, innamincka, birdsville, up to mt isa, over to cairns and up. car is ready to roll, food packing/purchasing nearly done. the pair of us,well actually the 3 of us are still sick but i am not letting that hold us up. this should be an interesting trip as we have not yet taken our 18 mth old daughter on a trip like this.lots of caravanning and regular camping but not this trekking. i think she will be fine ( she loves the car ) so if you also are out there tripping around and see us (blue 100 series-explor oz tyre cover) give us a yell. cheers Paul

Good Luck Paul,

I am heading off from sydney on the 27th july for a trip up the cape.

If you get a chance, post some conditions and thoughts of how your trip is going.

Cheers

Dave

Paul,

We are leaving Adelaide tonight and traveling the same way by the sounds of your trip. We are also taking our 18 month old daughter although my wife is flying to Cairns and meeting my son and I there rather than sitting in the car so long.
We are in a white 200 series towing a Trak Shak camper - might see some of you up there! Have an exploroz sticker on the back window.
