Richmond to
Winton (Qld) Lately that could tell me the road conditions

Haven't been on it for a while, but would suggest that it would have been graded this year, but due to dry conditions it may be a bit powdery in
places, with few corrugations.

Not been down it this year but that road is pretty heavilly used by road trains and can get rough. Depending on where you are going the Maxwelton to
Kynuna road may be a better option. There are a couple of gates but it is much smoother being much less travelled and I reckon more scenic. I always go that way in preference, particularly if I have someone to open the gates!
