Just heard on the ABC radio that diamonds have been discovered near Peterborough. Might be the best thing for the Boro since the Railways pulled out. And Willem might find some to fund his next trip.

The one in SA Nick, and a few years ago they found some traces out near Craddock too. There has been a company prospecting out that way for quite a few years.

I wonder if Willem, is out gardening at the moment.
Just checking underneath the spuds.

Next thing we will see will be all the locals driving around in Blinged-out Nissans....21 inch rims, lowered suspension, subwoofers on top of subwoofers. :-)

Willem's probably out upgrading as we speak. ;-)

Looks like they found Willams secret stash, eh? There goes the neighbourhood..again.
Probably just a tourist campaign by Judith to attract more people to go there for their festivals :)
Seriously, I sincerely hope that reports are correct, and that they find a lot of them around there.
Especially in Willams back yard...
Can you see the irony? He wanders around Australia swinging that new fangled detector, only to have diamonds found in his back yard.

Ever heard of the term "seeding". Maybe Willy is trying to drive up the price of his house so that he can move to a warmer climate.

Its an old story

They found diamonds close to the Borough about 10 years ago.

Every two years the prospecting company makes the news headlines and then their share price goes up again.

Most locals say Ho-Hum!!!

Sorry to drag up an old joke, but just read in the Age that the "Peterborough diamonds" are not, in fact, diamonds at all.
Flinders Mines has confirmed that they are "florencite, a chrystal-like mineral from the phosphate family".
Looks like you will have to cancel that order for bling Willem.
Cheers
