We just arrived back in Toowoomba after a wonderful 3 week trip to the Centre. We went out via Birdsville, Boulia, the Plenty and back via Coober Pedy and the Strzelecki, arriving in Innamincka on Thursday 10 July.

We couldn’t believe how busy it was!

We found a pretty spot to camp right right on the creek on the Town Common and soon realised we were surrounded by ExploOzzers – and lovely people you were too!

Unfortunately we were restricted to an overnight and left next morning without having met the whole crew (but not before the young fella [17 and bullet-proof] swam across the Cooper and back for the $60 his sisters put up as an incentive; it was about 7:30 and 3 degrees at the time!)

The Innamincka experience, albeit brief, has caused me to make the decision to upgrade from visitor to member with the hope that we can attend a gathering in the future.

Kind regards

Good to see you enjoyed your experience with the EO mob at Innamincka.
Even Kiwi reniged on her dip in the Cooper and she left before her debt was paid.

Look forward to meeting you at a future Gathering.

Cheers Kev

G'day there Spliney.

I think you guys may have been "sandwiched" between us on your left and Fina & Don on your right.

Didn't realise the young fella had taken a bath, but I do recall an unusual noise over breakfast. Must have been his teeth chattering.

Good to see you enjoyed the brief interlude and was so impressed with "us mob" that you have decided to become a member.

Catch Ya!
