There've been a couple of very interesting postings over the last day concerning 2 inspiring
great Australian walks; John Olsen's Longest Walk for an Aussie Kid and Dave Phoenix's Burke & Wills Walk 2008.
Although quite a bit different, but equally inspiring is Alan Waddell's:-
Walk Sydney Streets:
For those of you who haven't heard of him, Alan is in the process of walking every street in
Sydney. So far he's completed 284 suburbs. Not bad for a bloke who's 93!
If you've got plenty of spare time, check out his site, because not only is Alan as fit as, he's also a very witty character in the True Blue tradition.
There's over 1,000 images of him taken on his walks and the captions will have you either chuckling to yourself or falling off your chair laughing.
