Yesterday Members Mad Cowz and kids dropped in for lunch and to drop off some jerrycans lent to another EO Member at Innamincka. The Cowz family were on their way home after Innamincka, the Simpson and dry places beyond.

Then around 5pm Member Williie, Sydney, dropped in for a chat and stayed for supper bringing along some choice cryovaced steaks and a bottle of Mt Barker Reserve Shiraz. He and Judith also got stuck into the Merlot before the meal. He decided that it was too difficult to back the Bushtracker into our yard and spend the night in the laneway behind our house. When I rose at 7am he was gone, on his way home after 7 weeks getting gold fever in the Pilbara

Last month Peter2(of Hummer fame), his wife and a couple of mates, all named Peter stayed over on their way to the Geo Centre of the Simpson Desert. I addressed them as Peter 1, Peter 2 and Peter 3....lol

Busy place this...when we are home.

Cheers

Footy

After his delay in Alice he was busting to get home. Sounded more like fear of SWMBO as he had gone beyond the point of return...lol

Still, it's a two day drive from Alice to the Borough and a two day drive from here back to Sydney.

Morning Steve and Denny

I sit here at night poring over maps, looking at distances, working out the cost. ATM I have three possible trips lined up. Gotta do this afore I fall off the perch...LOL
