Big Kidz (Andrew & Jen - Melb)
Hi all
In November last year Jen paid for our
membership renewal and guess who were the lucky ones - we were. We won a prize for renewing our
membership with EO and the Prize was a 4wd
driver training day with P7OffRoad.
We did not think we could use it but as luck would have it we were going to be in Queensland to meet some friends and Dave at P7OffRoad was good enough to arrange a course for the one weekend we were going to be there - the friends were meeting us in
Maryborough so it was perfect.
I would like to thank both EO and Dave from P7Offroad. We had a fantastic day - we actually a bit longer as Dave let us
camp on his property for two nights as
well.
Our whole family really enjoyed the day. Jen even had a drive. The kids loved it and Dave was great at getting them to participate as
well. We have done quite a bit of 4wding but it was great to learn things that helped when recovering MadCows in the Simpson...
I could not help thinking what a great gift it would be to give to our kids when they get to the age of doing 4wd travels - there were a couple of
young guys there who's mum gave them her Paj and the course for Christmas. I was most impressed with the information provided, the clarity with which it was done. The fact that the kids gave us a running commentary on the Simpson recoveries was testament to the clarity of the message.
Thanks Dave and thanks EO.

Good stuff Big kids.
Good to see people reap the rewards from being a member. (See it does pay to be a member)
"tis good to hear the kids benefited from the training aswell, one day they can hook up the snatch or winch cable and have full confidence they know what they are doing.
Cheers Luke

Hi Dave
Maxtrax were not needed by us but we Nick did have a set and he used his on his recovery. We used his three times. Once to help a vehicle turn in the sand out of the wheel ruts so that it could get in position to snatch out Nicks car and camper. Worked really
well in the sand. I did not need recovering.
The day up with you was excellent. I think that your educational background and that you have kids yourself made it great for our kids too - I would love to do one of the more advanced courses - your property is great up there.
Andrew
