$85K for a 200 series. $2000 diesel fuel to Broome.
Glad to see that we are all "better off financially than we have ever been".
Personally, I'm going grocery shopping today. I might just have enough left over for a Lotto ticket...I hope.
Sour grapes ?
You bet !

Sour grapes ?????? You betcha too !!!

Are people paying cash for these things or does Mr Westpac own them ??

The thought of paying one off isn't the problem.....it's whether the 4x4 will last the 20yrs it takes to pay off the loan !!!!!!

Would I buy one if I had the money ?? Yeh, probably !!

Fuel use at 14.3 L/100 is a far cry from the 10.something skited
by Tojo. With only 2 up & not towing it makes my V6 Jack look
good at 14.9, towing a C/t & with 4 up... all on same country. Didnt use oil, but put 1/2
Litre in anyway...?????. Dont think I will be trading up somehow.

Hey Oldbaz - fair go - half a tonne extra (thats what it says) and through the Simpson and other very slow tracks and sand dunes. My 100s TD gets 13l/100 k on long main road trips and with my camper mainly off road and dirt gets 18 to 21 l 100kms

Mine has only done 1000km but so far 10l/100km but this was not towing but a mixture of country and town work.

We met them in the Simpson at the top of a dune and was glad he had a good hand held vhf. The LC200 was traveling in convoy with a orange TRD Hilux, which shows up in one of the pics in the Herald article in Sydney last Saturday. He stated it was not using oil like some (I was the Nissan driver)

I have two friends with 200's, one tows a large van and has used 6 litres of oil in 6,000km's, the other nil in 2000 kms. Beautiful to drive but both using 4 lt per 100 ks more than their TD 100's. Both LC diehards

I have a terrible problem with my LC 200 - The wife won't stop driving it. Apart from that we are very happy with it, 11,200 kms on clock, dream to tow with, heading to Limmen bight in 5 weeks for a few weeks barra fishing.

Cheers
