After asking about replacing my winch cable in thread number 59909 trying to find out steel vers synthetic Member Willie from
Sydney offered me his spare steel cable for postage cost only.
Willie send me his cable last week and I offered to pay for it but Willie refused to accept a payment. Anybody here starting to loose faith in People don't. There are still more good people out there than bad ones as Willie proofed. I was thinking of a movie I saw called paying forward. To long to explain but google it.
Thank you Willie and as I said what goes around comes around mate.

pay it forward is a great concept if you can't pay it back.
It was taught to me as a youngster in a very minor and simple way.
I was about 14 yo and I was a dollar short of paying for something in a store and a friendly lady saw what was happening and gave me the dollar.
She knew I was thinking that I could never repay her and she said don't worry someday you can help someone else and then they will help someone else.
It was a strong lesson for a 14 yo and has stayed with me and i have passed it on to my kids....
Well done Willie the spirit continues...
