Hi,
Can anyone tell me which
camp sites in the
Grampians have access for camper trailers.
Thanks.
Paul.

Hi Paul
Well they neary all do sort of, depends whether you want your camper right next to the fire place and tables or are prepared to set up a bit further away. Put it this way the roads access is easy for all of them if thats what you are worried about.
Buandik (
well spelt something like that) that comes off the Henty hightway on the western side is a good spot to
camp with good walks but plenty of pine post barriers so your camper will be some distance from the fireplace.
Boreang (again just a guess) off the
glenelg rive road in the centre of the
Grampians has excellent access to firplaces and excellent pit fires with seats etc, probably my pick as the gravel roads leading in shake off a few people.
The Hollow Mountain
camping area in the north is barren and open to the wind
Jimmy
Creek (i think it is open again after the fire?) is good and protected but have not been there since the fire so don't know the caspmer access.
There is another main
camping spot half way to
Halls Gap right on the main road but gets a lot of traffic.
Same with Zumsteins
Note that many of the track will be closed at the moment and even some of the main roads will be quite wet.
